Kosovo Police has suspended a police officer for 72 hours on suspicion of leaking official information in Gjakova.
According to a media release, it is announced that the Police of the Republic of Kosovo (KP), in addition to priorities in fulfilling the foreseen strategic objectives, also attaches special importance to issues related to work performance, integrity, discipline, responsibility and accountability of police officers.
“The Regional Directorate in Gjakova, after operational-investigative actions aimed at verifying information, has identified a police officer, an employee at the police station in Gjakova, who has been suspended for 72 hours, on the well-founded suspicion of leaking official information,” the announcement states.
As stated in the announcement regarding the case, all further actions will be taken in close coordination and cooperation with the competent institutions, including the Kosovo Police Inspectorate. /Telegrafi/
